There is a misinterpretation of “organic” in the industry. Adding some organic lavender oil to a shampoo with heavy chemical substances has absolutely no point. That is not what I call organic. What I am trying to deliver is probably better described as “chemical-free” and we all know that is what customers are really looking for when they say organic. The question is whether or not we take it seriously.
It is not the organic that is repairing your skin. Your skin is trying to repair itself all the time and organic does not stop that. Organic sets your skin free so your skin does what it does naturally. There is no miracle healing.
I can tell happy hairs from unhappy hairs just by the stream of hairs falling between my fingers. With organic, the happiness grows every time they come back to my fingers. That is when I feel right about my job.
